Sales & Solution Selling
Promote and sell BESS solutions by understanding customer energy requirements and proposing value-added energy storage solutions.
Work closely with technical and engineering teams to develop customized proposals, system configurations, and commercial solutions.
Conduct customer presentations, technical discussions, product demonstrations, and commercial negotiations.
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation, opportunity qualification, proposal preparation, negotiation, and project closure.
Channel & Partnership Development
Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders including solar developers, EPC/EPCM contractors, system integrators, distributors, consultants, and strategic partners.
Identify and establish channel partnerships to accelerate market penetration and business growth.
Build long-term relationships with key accounts to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
Project & Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate closely with engineering, technical, operations, and project teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Support technical teams during pre-sales activities, site assessments, system design discussions, and solution development.
Ensure seamless handover from sales to project implementation teams while maintaining customer engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies within the renewable energy and energy storage sectors.
Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, customer needs, and industry developments.
Provide market insights and strategic recommendations to management to support business planning and product positioning.
Commercial & Performance Management
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business performance updates for management review.
Ensure achievement of sales targets, profitability objectives, and key performance indicators.
Support pricing strategies, tender submissions, and contract negotiations to maximize business opportunities.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5–8 years of business development or sales experience within the renewable energy, solar, BESS, energy storage, or power solutions industry.
Proven experience selling to both B2B and B2C markets.
Demonstrated experience selling or promoting Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), solar PV solutions, energy management systems, or related technologies.
Strong industry network and experience working with solar developers, EPC/EPCM contractors, system integrators, consultants, and other renewable energy stakeholders is highly preferred.
