JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Spearheading and opening new business route
  • Marketing of chemicals / electronics products in Malaysia/Singapore and regional markets
  • Follow up with existing customers for Electronics and Chemical business
  • Provide market information on products, competitor information and prepare timely reports
  • Assist handling new business development
  • Building relationship with existing customers and suppliers
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively look for new prospective clients, identifying leads
  • Accountable for meeting individual (KPIs) and team goals
  • Assist in driving, developing new accounts and monitoring market trends
  • Any relevant task/job assigned by direct superior from time to time

KEY REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:

1) Education Level

  • Diploma or Degree

2) Working Experience

  • Experience in Chemicals/Electronics
  • Preferably with some knowledge in Chemicals, Fertilizers or Fluoropolymers

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

1) Skills

  • Overview about product knowledge/ technology
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
  • Able to travel, especially in South East Asia

2) Personal Attributes

  • Dynamic, creative and enthusiastic
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
  • Able to think out of the box
