Job Responsibilities:-
1. Business Development & Sales
- Identify, qualify, and secure new rooftop solar opportunities across commercial, industrial, and institutional segments.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.
- Conduct site assessments together with technical teams to understand customer requirements and propose suitable solar solutions.
- Lead proposal development, including financial modelling, techno-commercial analysis, and solution presentations.
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and deal closure.
2. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct customer consultations to understand energy needs, financial expectations, and sustainability goals.
- Provide excellent customer support throughout the sales and project lifecycle to ensure high satisfaction and long-term client partnerships.
3. Market Research & Strategy
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, regulatory policies, and incentive programs impacting the solar market.
- Prepare market intelligence reports and recommend strategic actions to enhance the company's competitive positioning.
- Identify new market segments, partnership opportunities, and innovative business models (e.g., PPA, leasing, zero-capex).
4. Proposal & Contract Management
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to develop accurate quotations, system designs, and commercial proposals.
- Support contract drafting, review, and negotiation to ensure alignment with both client expectations and internal policies.
- Ensure proposals meet company financial targets and risk management standards.
5. Project Coordination & Handover
- Facilitate smooth handover of awarded projects to the engineering and project execution teams.
- Ensure all contractual, technical, and commercial requirements are clearly communicated.
- Support project-related discussions with clients during execution when necessary.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or project managementpreferably in solar PV or renewable energy.
- Experience with EPCC projects or energy-related solutions is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, rooftop installations, commercial PPA structures, and energy savings models.
- Proficiency in strategic planning, business development, and B2B sales.
- Skilled in market research, client relationship management, and pipeline development.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand basic electrical/engineering concepts (advantageous).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and other business tools.
