As we continue expanding in Singapore and the region, we are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to grow our partner network and drive adoption of our DAAS solutions.
Your Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding TrustPal's business network by identifying and onboarding Financial Advisory firms, insurance agencies, adviser groups, and distribution partners that can benefit from our DAAS platform and services.
You will also develop strategic partnerships and referral channels that generate business opportunities across the TrustPal ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
DAAS Partner Acquisition
- Identify and engage potential:
- Financial Advisory (FA) Firms
- Insurance Agencies
- Adviser Groups
- Wealth Management Businesses
- Distribution Partners
- Present TrustPal's DAAS capabilities and value proposition.
- Drive onboarding of new partners into the TrustPal ecosystem.
- Build and maintain a strong business development pipeline.
- Support partner activation and long-term relationship management.
Regional Channel Sales Development
- Regional Business Travelling Opportunities
- Generate and manage referral-based business
- Work closely with advisers, agency leaders, and partners to facilitate business opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and onboarding.
- Support revenue growth through channel partnerships and strategic alliances.
Strategic Partnerships
Build relationships with:
- Financial Advisory Firms
- Insurance Agencies
- Agency Leaders
- Professional Associations
- Industry Partners
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting business presentations and demonstrations.
- Managing partnership discussions and negotiations.
- Developing long-term strategic relationships.
- Representing TrustPal at industry events and networking engagements.
Singapore Market Development
- Travel regularly to Singapore to meet prospective partners and clients.
- Support partner onboarding and relationship-building activities.
- Strengthen TrustPal's presence within Singapore's financial advisory and wealth management ecosystem.
Pipeline & Performance Management
Manage the full business development cycle:
Lead Generation → Discovery Meeting → Proposal → Partnership Conversion
Achieve targets in:
- New DAAS partner acquisition
- Platform subscription revenue
- Partnership-generated opportunities
- Strategic ecosystem growth
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Experience in:
- Financial Advisory
- Insurance
- Wealth Management

- B2B Business Development
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently to Singapore.
- Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with Financial Advisory Firms or Insurance Agencies.
- Existing network within the Singapore financial services industry.
- Experience in partnership development and channel sales.
- Understanding of adviser operations, compliance, and business management challenges.
- Experience selling SaaS, platform, or outsourced operational services.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary
RM6,000 – RM8,000 per month
