Our direct client, who is a global company, in voice networking, unified communications, and contact center solutions is looking for a curious, driven, and people‑oriented Business Development Representative to join their growing APAC team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys starting conversations, uncovering opportunities, and helping potential customers take the next step in their buying journey.
You will be the first point of contact for many incoming enquiries and will play a key role in turning interest into real sales opportunities. From initial outreach to qualifying prospects and working closely with Sales and Marketing, you'll have full ownership of leads and a real impact on pipeline growth across the region.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who is comfortable working independently, thrives in a fast‑moving environment, and enjoys building relationships—both inside and outside the business.
As the BDR, you will:
- Manage and qualify inbound leads across APAC, making sure no good opportunity is missed
- Proactively reach out to target accounts through calls, emails, and LinkedIn
- Start meaningful conversations with potential customers to understand their needs and priorities
- Nurture leads and move them from early interest to sales‑ready opportunities
- Work closely with Sales to smoothly hand overqualified opportunities and follow progress
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to improve how leads are generated and managed
- Research companies and contacts to build strong prospect intelligence
- Keep all lead and activity information accurate and up to date in Salesforce and Outreach
The ideal candidate must have:
- 1–2 years of experience in B2B lead generation, inside sales, or telemarketing
- Exposure to technology‑driven industries such as IT, software, telecoms, or cloud is a plus
- Confident communicator with strong spoken and written English
- Comfortable discussing business challenges and linking them to technology solutions
- Experience using CRM and sales tools—Salesforce and Outreach are strong advantages
- Self‑motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work remotely
- Well‑organised, able to juggle multiple leads and tasks at once
- Friendly, outgoing personality with confidence speaking to decision‑makers
- Familiar with LinkedIn and other social platforms for professional prospecting
- Additional APAC languages are a strong advantage
