We are seeking a motivated and organised Business Development Specialist to provide essential support to the Agency team. This position will involve close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders in ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the team's success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate quotation requests and placement instructions for commercial lines
  • Follow up with agents on quotations and policy renewals
  • Assist with extracting and organizing sales data for tracking and analysis
  • Support the onboarding of new agents and manage the year-end GIA renewal process
  • Maintenance of agent database records to ensure accuracy
  • Facilitate communication with agents, including training, campaigns, and events.
  • Provide general support to the team in achieving team goals

Qualifications

  • A degree qualification is preferred.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in GI commercial lines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Required possession of relevant Insurance certifications (e.g., BCP, PGI, ComGI); if not currently held, the individual must undertake the certification exams.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to communicate with a broader range of agents.
