Business Engineer

Position title: Business Engineer

Reporting to: Sales Team Manager – ASEAN.

Areas / Regions of responsibility

Provide technical support towards sales activities to customers in ASEAN and Oceania and other areas / regions within APAC.

Short description

In close cooperation and guidance from the Team Manager and sales team, support and drive business processes including support to the Sales organization and our customers in technical and commercial matters.

The daily work includes responsibility in driving sales activities related to implementation of new customer projects such as product and prototype selections, calculations, quotations, follow-ups, prototypes, preparation for serial production and logistic setups and support, claim handling, sales and application support locally.

Responsibility

1. Drive the Business Engineering processes and contribute to improvements.

Business Engineering processes include but are not limited to maintaining the information in the SWEP CRM system, generating selections and participating in technical meetings / discussions / support for customers, preparing required documents, handling field claims and managing user access to the SWEP simulation programme(s).

1. Prepare commercial offers in accordance to the Authorization Matrix.
2. Participate in SWEP's internal and customer- and market-oriented projects and initiatives e.g. launch of new products and technologies.
3. Conduct product and application trainings.
4. Participate in conferences and exhibitions when required.
5. Study and consolidate business intelligence information for defined applications and regions.

Mandatory trainings/certifications for position

1. University degree in engineering or technical faculty.
2. Minimum 3 years of working experience in design / technical support / sales in thermal engineering or related fields.
3. Intermediate level in usage of Microsoft Office applications.
4. Valid driving license.
5. Proficiency in the English and Malay languages is mandatory.

Advantageous but not critical for position

1. Experience in the HVACR or heat exchanger industry.
2. Proficiency in the Chinese and foreign languages.
