Position Summary
The BI & Data Insight Executive/Senior Executive will be responsible for building actionable Marketing, Business & Consumer insights by using tools at his/her disposal or through information collected through other sources. The role requires to work very closely with internal (Brand Team, Trade Marketing, Research team) & external teams (media agency, publishers/vendors & research partners).
This role is key to the concept of managing data as an asset and providing a competitive edge to the Vinda SEA. This role will be accountable for leading all day-to-day operations of the data collection, analysis & management, its related applications and the development of effective business intelligence use within Vinda SEA. The role requires working towards data-driven decision-making by driving digitalization, organizing data, analytics, and maintaining Vinda's own platforms.
Working Location: Vinda SEA HQ (Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang, next to Setia Alam)
You will play an essential role to:
1) Insights
- Interpreting complex data to create and deliver effective, insightful presentations.
- Conducting competitive research and analyzing data.
- Data extraction from various sources for analysis.
- Partnering with wider marketing team and other internal stakeholders to identify opportunities.
- Drive digitalization within an organization by transforming excel reports to interactive tableau dashboards.
- Create internal mini data warehouse to organize & store data.
- Drive data standardization across organization.
- Maintain brand assets (Websites, Apps, Meta, Tiktok or any other platforms) & ensure tracking in place.
- Analyzing and assessing different data sources to build insights and recommendations that support business strategies and objectives.
- Responsible for creating data modelling & predictive analytics.
2) Data Management (Create connect data across organization)
(a) Customer Data Platform (CDP)
- Own CDP tool: Solely responsible for all tasks related to CDP.
- Build single repository of data: Work closely with all teams to connect their brands data to single source.
- Single View of Consumer: Use the tool to create single view of consumer cross brand. Identifying consumer who are buying other brands.
- Building Customer Segments: Constantly build & optimize multiple consumer segments.
- Personalizing omnichannel experience: Work closely with all teams to ensure that we personalize experience for all consumers.
(b) Digitalization
- Act as an analytical and reporting partner to various business units (Commercial, Marketing, Product, Operations), enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
- Build robust tools for monitoring KPIs and enabling decision-making at the company and operations level.
- Invest in improving the data capabilities of the organization through the implementation of new tools and adhering to best practices.
3) Own/ Collaborate Tech Stacks
- Tableau: Work on Tableau to create interactive dashboard or maintain or enhance existing dashboards.
- SQL server.
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Degree in Business Analysis, Management, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Math, Physics or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience in Tableau, SQL, Power BI, Python, Data Processing, and Data Visualization tools
- Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and data visualization
- Strong digital strategy experience with a focus on customer acquisition.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into simple language, using their analytical mind
- Experience across email marketing, marketing automation and digital analytics platforms
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence would be added advantage
