To coordinate the day-to-day process of patient discharge at the ward level.
Coordinator with doctors, nursing, housekeeping, pharmacy, and billing to expedite the discharge process.
Explain the discharge procedure to patients or family members, and begin offering early release, particularly to patients covered by insurance.
Relocate those patients waiting for FGL to the waiting lounge located at the ward level.
As the primary liaison for discharge planning, give patients and their families frequent discharge updates.
Ensure timely communication with the relevant teams when discharge is contingent upon specific actions, such as final GL status, medication, and refund.
Contact patients who were released without a final guarantee letter within 24 hours to update the status of their refund and Final Guarantee Letter.
Respond to any billing-related questions.
To check on the room readiness to cater for the new admissions
To be able to accept and perform any duties that may be requested by the management/as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification SPM.
3-5 years of experience in the healthcare industry setup.
Experience in coordinating the processes and customer service.
Knowledge of computer literature
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface with various levels of the organization.
