To lead and manage the development and integration of Business Office operations and capabilities to ensure a smooth running flow to provide good quality services to customers. Ensures compliance, financial integrity, and service excellence to support hospital operations and patient satisfaction.
What's your job like
- Oversee all front office functions, including registration, admission, discharge, insurance coordination, cashiering, and credit control.
- Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and front-line staff.
- Monitor patient service KPIs (e.g., waiting time, registration accuracy, collection rates).
- Liaise with insurance companies and TPAs for pre-authorizations and claim coordination.
- Ensure accurate billing and collections, including refund approvals and daily cashier reconciliation.
- Track outstanding accounts and support timely claim submission and credit enforcement.
- Act as an escalation point for patient complaints or service issues.
Who are we looking for
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in hospital front office operations, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Familiarity with hospital billing, insurance/GL protocols, and credit control processes.
- Required skills: Strong leadership and analytical skills.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. Ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage.
