Job Description:
As the BP&A Lead, you will be responsible for providing valuable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring the achievement of financial objectives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the overall success of the company by leveraging your expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and business performance evaluation.
- Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Lead the annual and quarterly budgeting cycles. You will work closely with department heads (e.g., Business units, Warehouse, Logistics) to set realistic yet ambitious financial targets.
- Performance Management: Own the P&L for the business unit. Monitor KPIs such as GMV (Gross Merchandise Value), take rates, and fulfillment costs. Identify variances and proactively recommend course corrections.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models to simulate various business scenarios, such as new market entries, pricing shifts, or changes in shipping subsidies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the financial conscience for the Business Development and Operations teams. Conduct ROI analysis on new projects and evaluate the feasibility of strategic initiatives
- Reporting & Insights: Prepare high-impact presentations and dashboards for senior leadership, translating complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
- Process Optimization: Continuously improve the accuracy of forecasting methodologies and automate reporting workflows
- Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of high performance, detail orientation, and commercial curiosity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 5-8 years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), business analytics, or strategy roles
- Prior experience in e-commerce, tech, logistics, or high-growth environments is highly preferred
- Proven track record of owning P&L and driving business performance
- Excellent data handling skills in Excel/Google Sheets experience in SQL/Power BI is an added advantage
- Leadership experience with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
