We are seeking a mid-level Business Product Owner to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and the development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining product requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and project timelines.
- Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements, answer questions, and ensure proper implementation.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions with the development team.
- Monitor product progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on delivery status, risks, and issues.
- Ensure solutions meet business objectives, quality standards, and user expectations.
- Assist in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Support product strategy by providing insights from business analysis and market trends.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 25 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of product management and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with project management and product tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, e.g., banking, fintech, e-commerce].
- Exposure to digital transformation or IT project delivery.
