Business Reporting Analyst

Business Reporting Analyst – Japanese Language Support (12-Month Contract)

We are supporting a leading global manufacturing company in the search for a Business Reporting Analyst to join its regional Shared Services Centre in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will partner with finance teams across Japan and the wider APAC region to support financial reporting, month-end close activities and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain management reports, dashboards and KPI reporting
• Analyse business performance and operational trends
• Support monthly reporting cycles and executive reporting requirements
• Validate and reconcile data from multiple systems and sources
• Develop reporting improvements and automation opportunities
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Support ad hoc analysis and decision-making initiatives
• Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency and governance standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience within Business Reporting, Data Analytics, FP&A or Management Reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or other BI/reporting tools preferred
• Experience working with large datasets and reporting environments
• Japanese language proficiency required to support Japanese-speaking stakeholders
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
