Business Unit Head (Consumer Retail & Wellness)

An established consumer retail and wellness brand is looking for an experienced Business Unit Head to lead its commercial operations in Malaysia.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving business growth, profitability, and market expansion while leading cross-functional teams across Key Accounts, Retail, E-commerce, Sales, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Lead and inspire the commercial team across Key Accounts, Retail, E-commerce, and Marketing.
• Drive business growth through strategic partnerships, retail expansion, and online sales channels.
• Manage P&L, sales performance, marketing initiatives, and inventory planning.
• Build high-performing teams and foster a results-driven culture.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of leadership experience in consumer retail, wellness, consumer electronics, home appliances, or a related industry.
• Proven track record in leading commercial functions with responsibility for sales, P&L, and business growth.
• Strong experience managing Key Accounts, modern trade, retail operations, e-commerce, and marketing.
• Strategic thinker with excellent commercial acumen, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced, consumer-facing business is highly preferred.
