Company: REFORM

Location: Malaysia

Employment Type: Full-Time

About REFORM Pulse

REFORM Pulse is the Events, Activations and Brand Experience arm of REFORM Group.

As REFORM continues to grow into a more complete marketing and brand experience company, we are looking for a strong founding team member to help build REFORM Pulse from 0 to 1.

This is not a traditional event management role.

We are looking for someone who can help build a new business unit; from strategy, concepts and proposals, all the way to production, client servicing, vendor management and event execution.

The right person must be able to think strategically, execute operationally, communicate confidently with clients, and build the systems needed for this business unit to scale.

Role Overview

As the Lead of REFORM Pulse, you will be responsible for helping REFORM build its Events, Activations and Brand Experience capability.

You will lead the planning and execution of events and activations, support business development efforts, manage clients and vendors, and help establish the operating system for REFORM Pulse.

Your key responsibility is to help prove that REFORM Pulse can become a viable revenue-generating business unit within REFORM Group.

Key Responsibilities

1. Event & Activation Strategy

Develop event, activation and brand experience concepts that support client business objectives.

This may include:

  • Product launches
  • Property launches
  • Media events
  • Influencer activations
  • Brand experiences
  • Community events
  • Corporate events
  • Internal company events

You should be able to confidently answer the question:

What experience should we create to help this brand achieve its objectives

2. Event Production & Delivery

Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of REFORM Pulse projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Project planning
  • Event timelines
  • Run sheets
  • Venue coordination
  • Vendor coordination
  • Talent coordination
  • Production management
  • On-ground execution
  • Risk management
  • Post-event reporting

The goal is to deliver events that clients feel confident placing in REFORM's hands.

3. Business Development & Proposal Support

Work closely with the Growth team to help convert event and activation opportunities into revenue.

This includes:

  • Joining client meetings and pitches
  • Supporting proposal development
  • Creating event budgets
  • Developing activation ideas
  • Sourcing suppliers and costings
  • Presenting event concepts when required

You will play an important role in helping REFORM confidently offer events, activations and brand experience solutions alongside our existing Strategy and Digital services.

4. Vendor & Partner Ecosystem Development

Build and maintain a strong network of trusted partners, suppliers and vendors.

This includes:

  • Production partners
  • AV suppliers
  • Sound and lighting vendors
  • Fabricators
  • Event venues
  • Hosts and emcees
  • Talent partners
  • KOL partners
  • Photographers and videographers
  • PR partners
  • Event manpower partners

This ecosystem will become one of the core assets of REFORM Pulse.

5. Client Experience & Relationship Management

Act as the primary REFORM Pulse lead once projects are secured.

You will be responsible for managing client expectations, ensuring clear communication, and delivering a strong experience from planning to execution.

Clients should see you as a trusted partner who can manage the full event journey with clarity, confidence and care.

6. Building the REFORM Pulse Operating System

Help create the systems, templates and processes needed for REFORM Pulse to scale.

This includes:

  • Proposal templates
  • Budget templates
  • Event planning frameworks
  • Run sheet templates
  • Vendor database
  • Project management SOPs
  • Event execution checklists
  • Post-event reporting formats

The goal is not only to execute events, but to build a repeatable and scalable business unit.

First 6-Month Success Metrics

In the first six months, success will be measured across the following areas:

  • Support the closure and successful delivery of RM300,000–RM500,000 in Pulse-related revenue
  • Successfully execute 5–8 events or activations
  • Build a qualified Pulse pipeline worth at least RM1,000,000
  • Build a database of 50+ qualified suppliers, vendors and partners
  • Establish core proposal, budget, SOP, event delivery and run-sheet systems
  • Achieve strong client satisfaction across delivered projects
  • Support repeat business from 2–3 clients

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in events, activations, brand experiences or experiential marketing
  • Strong in both planning and on-ground execution
  • Confident in front of clients
  • Able to build event budgets and manage suppliers
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong in communication, coordination and problem-solving
  • Calm under pressure
  • Commercially aware and able to think beyond execution
  • Excited by the opportunity to help build a new business unit from the ground up

Ideal Experience

The ideal candidate should have experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Event management
  • Experiential marketing
  • Brand activations
  • PR events
  • Product launches
  • Property launches
  • Influencer/KOL activations
  • Corporate events
  • Agency-side event production

Experience working in an agency, event company, production house, PR agency or brand experience team would be an advantage.

What Makes This Role Different

This is a rare opportunity to join REFORM at the early stage of building a new business vertical.

You will not only be managing events.

You will be helping to build the foundation of REFORM Pulse; its capabilities, supplier network, processes, credibility, client trust and revenue.

If successful, this role has the potential to grow into a leadership position within REFORM Pulse as the business unit scales.

Why Join REFORM

REFORM is building towards becoming a more complete marketing, creativity and brand experience company.

We work across strategy, digital, creators, content, campaigns and now events and activations.

If you are someone who wants to build, lead, create and be part of a company that is still growing boldly, this role may be for you.

To Apply

Please send your CV, portfolio or examples of past events/activations you have worked on.

We are especially interested in candidates who can show experience in both event strategy and event execution.
