C# Developer

Project Description:

Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, are looking for Consultants to be part of the project.

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising, and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.

The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.

You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Responsibilities:

1. Application Development

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Investment & Wealth applications.
• Build web-based applications using:

- C#

-.NET Core / .NET 5/6/7+

- MVC

- Web API

• Develop reusable and scalable application components.

2. Requirement Analysis & Enhancement

• Analyse business and technical requirements.
• Perform impact analysis for change requests and enhancements.
• Support implementation of new functionalities and defect fixes.

3. Database Development & Integration

• Work with:

-Microsoft SQL Server

- Entity Framework

• Develop and optimize SQL queries and database interactions.
• Support application integration with backend systems.

4. Testing & Deployment

• Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT activities.
• Support end-to-end deployment activities.
• Ensure smooth implementation and post-deployment validation.

5. Batch & Scheduling Support

• Support batch scheduling and job execution using:
• Control-M
• Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled jobs where applicable.

6. Production Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Provide production support and bug fixes.
• Ensure application stability and performance.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 3-5 years of experience in application development
• Strong hands-on experience in:

- C#

- .NET Core / .NET 5/6/7+

- MVC

- Web API

• Experience working with:

- Microsoft SQL Server

- Entity Framework

• Experience in web application development
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• End-to-end deployment experience
• Exposure to:

- Control-M

- Experience in banking or Investment & Wealth domain
