Overview

A leading iGaming product holding with a strong track record across CIS and Tier 1 global markets is currently entering a strategic expansion phase in Malaysia and the broader Southeast Asian market.

We are looking for a Strategic Advisora senior industry professional or former C-level executivewho can provide high-level consultancy, localized market insight, and strategic guidance to our core leadership team (CEO & CMO) during this expansion phase.

This role is ideal for someone with deep regional expertise in the Asian iGaming ecosystem and a strong understanding of market dynamics, payments infrastructure, and player behavior.

Scope of Engagement

As a Strategic Advisor, you will act as a high-level consultant and subject matter expert across one or more of the following areas:

Market Entry & Local Strategy

• Provide guidance on market entry strategies tailored specifically to the Malaysian market
• Help refine product-market fit and local growth positioning

Payments & Infrastructure

• Advise on regional payment gateways, high-risk processing, and local banking relationships
• Provide insights into optimizing payment acceptance and transaction flows

User Retention & CRM

• Share insights on regional player behavior and engagement patterns
• Advise on loyalty programs, retention strategies, and high-LTV player management tailored to Asian markets

Affiliate & Growth Ecosystems

• Provide guidance on affiliate structures and regional partnership opportunities
• Support growth strategies involving agencies, affiliate networks, and media buying ecosystems

Regulatory & Operational Insights

• Share practical insights into the local operational landscape and regulatory considerations to support sustainable market growth

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

• Current or former C-level executive (CEO, COO, CMO, CFO) or Head of Region within a reputable iGaming company

Regional Expertise

• Deep understanding of the Malaysian and Southeast Asian iGaming market
• Strong knowledge of local player behavior, payment challenges, and growth channels

Strategic Perspective

• Ability to translate industry trends into actionable strategies for scaling iGaming operations

Engagement Structure

We offer a flexible advisory structure suitable for active executives or independent consultants.

Initial Phase

• 12 exploratory strategy sessions with the CEO and project leadership

Ongoing Advisory

• Monthly strategy consultations
• Ad-hoc availability for key decision-making discussions

Compensation

• Competitive daily or hourly consulting rates or a monthly advisory retainer

Equity / Success-Based Incentives

• Open to discussion for advisors contributing significant long-term strategic value or facilitating key business milestones
