C&S Drafter

JOB PURPOSE

The Civil & Structural Drafter is responsible for preparing, revising, and maintaining accurate Civil and Structural engineering drawings in support of industrial and EPC project deliverables, ensuring drawings meet engineering intent, company standards, and project specifications from tender through to as-built stages.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and revise Civil & Structural engineering drawings, including General Arrangement (GA), detailed drawings, reinforcement detailing, steel detailing, and foundation drawings.

• Produce construction drawings based on engineers sketches, calculations, and design mark-ups.

• Update drawings according to engineering comments and client review feedback.

• Prepare drawings for tender, IFC (Issued for Construction), and as-built documentation.

• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Process disciplines to ensure drawing consistency.

• Maintain drawing quality and compliance with company standards and project specifications.

• Manage drawing registers and document revisions in accordance with document control procedures.

• Assist engineers with quantity take-off (MTO) and drawing-related deliverables where required.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

• AutoCAD (mandatory)

• Autodesk Advance Steel (preferred)

• Autodesk Revit (added advantage)

• Navisworks (added advantage)

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Drafting, or a related field.

• 3 – 4 years of relevant drafting experience, preferably within industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, power plant, or EPC project environments.

• Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering drawing standards and detailing practices.

• Good coordination and communication skills to work effectively across multiple engineering disciplines.

• Detail-oriented with strong drawing accuracy and quality control awareness.

• Able to work on-site and manage multiple drawing deliverables under project timelines.
