The Global Learning & Knowledge Management (GLKM) team provides a full range of dynamic, evolving learning and performance solutions that enrich our colleagues skills and knowledge, powering engagement and driving business results. We are a distributed team responsible for developing complete learning strategies, designing innovative learning solutions, and delivering experiential learning experiences. We make transformation possible by- attracting our future leaders, designing and delivering best-in-class learning, engaging and retaining top talent.

The GLKM Knowledge Management team is dedicated to ensuring our GS servicing colleagues have the most up-to-date and relevant information at their fingertips, looking after both the intake of new documentation and the governance and overall management of our content library.

How will you make an impact in this role

  • Partner with leaders to curate a library of soft skills resources to encourage continuous learning opportunities for all staff consumption
  • Collaborate closely with diverse customer groups to understand and collect feedback
  • Help conceptualize an innovative engagement program for the team
  • Help prepare materials for monthly learning sessions
  • Review current internal repository for its design and content structure to ensure it meets user needs and enhances internal knowledge sharing.
  • Present your project to senior leaders in our organization

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information and present it clearly.
  • Excellent communicator, able to simplify and explain complex concepts
  • Collaborative and inclusive team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities experienced in both qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Strong project management skills and comfortable with managing complex initiatives or large-scale projects
  • Self-starter who demonstrates ownership, initiative and the ability to work with limited oversight
  • Creative thinker who challenges assumptions and contributes fresh perspectives
  • Curious, adaptable, open to feedback, and committed to lifelong learning
  • Proficiency in analytical and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of knowledge management systems preferred but not crucial.

Additional Information:

  • Location: Kuala Lumpur

  • Starting Date: 27th April

  • Duration:6 Months

  • Hours: Full time

  • Year of study: Bachelors - penultimate or final year of study

This internship requires you to be available for a period of 6 months.

Employment eligibility to work with American Express in Malaysia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
