Cantonese to English Interpreters (No Experience Required)

Recruiting Bilingual Cantonese Speakers for a Paid Training Program Leading to a Remote Interpreter Position

Location: Remote

We are seeking candidates who are fluent in English and Cantonese.

Details

·       Paid 3-week training program

Training Program

Successful candidates will participate in a paid 3-week training program designed to prepare them for live interpreting.

Training Schedule

·       3-week training

·       2 hours per day live training (7am - 9am California, US time Zone)

·       5 hours of homework and assignments to be completed before the next day of training in their own time. (Paid)

·       Total of 7 hours, fully paid (35 hours per week)

Requirements

·       Fluency in English

·       Fluency in Cantonese

·       Strong communication skills

·       Reliable internet connection

·       Professional and positive attitude

·       Ability to work remotely

·       Available for a full-time position (starting at 7 a.m. California time)

Steps

1.     We receive their resume.

2.     We submit it to the client.

3.     We send them the English test.

4.     If they pass, they receive the Cantonese test.

There are no right or wrong answers in the test. They are only for checking fluency in the language.

Instructions for Passing the English Test

·       You must use a laptop or desktop computer ONLY.

·       Mobile phones, tablets, or other devices are not permitted.

·       Please ensure you have a stable internet connection throughout the test. (Very important)

·       Please listen carefully and follow all instructions exactly.

·       Please do not open any other applications, websites, or programs while taking the test. If any tabs are open, close them; open only the test.

·       The system can detect this activity and may automatically disqualify you.

·       Please make sure you have a pen and paper to take notes.

·       Please only use English and do not use any other language.

·       Use as much vocabulary as possible and construct long sentences.
