What you'll do:
- Own the end-to-end product roadmap for dtcpay's card issuing program across multiple market entities, driving consistency in core product logic while adapting to local regulations, scheme requirements, and market-specific user needs.
- Drive deep understanding of card economics including interchange structures, scheme fees, issuer profitability models, FX margin, and cost-revenue optimization across geographies.
- Define and deliver core card features including notification systems, balance display, auto authorisation release logic, MCC-level controls, and non-transferrable funds handling.
- Partner with Card Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Engineering teams to design scalable workflows, dispute resolution, chargeback management, and exception handling.
- Translate scheme rules, regulatory requirements, and partner specifications into clear PRDs and acceptance criteria for engineering execution.
- Design and optimise card-related user journeys across the app, ensuring multi-currency clarity, transaction transparency, and a frictionless cardholder experience.
- Define product metrics across card activation rate, transaction volume, decline rates, fraud incidence, and operational SLAs; drive iteration based on data.
- Act as the L3 product escalation point for Card Operations, providing root cause analysis and product-level resolution for complex issues that cannot be resolved at L1/L2 support.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of product management experience overall, with at least 3 years owning card issuing, card programs, or payment infrastructure products in a fintech, neobank, or payments company.
- Solid understanding of card transaction flows including authorisation, clearing, settlement, chargebacks, and dispute mechanics.
- Working knowledge of major card scheme rules, interchange economics, and issuer-side commercial structures.
- Demonstrated ability to write detailed PRDs, define acceptance criteria, and partner closely with engineering on technical implementation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret card transaction data, identify edge cases, and design product solutions for exception flows.
- Excellent stakeholder management across compliance, operations, engineering, and business teams.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
