Job Overview:

As an established General Sales Agent (GSA) with a strong reputation in the cargo industry, Abadi is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cargo Sales Executive to join our Cargo Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing cargo sales and marketing strategies, managing daily operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient coordination with agents, principals, and clients. The role also includes overseeing credit control, reporting, and the achievement of revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out assigned sales, marketing, and operational duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders including principals, agents, and customers on cargo-related matters.
• Monitor and manage collections and credit control of supporting agents and customers.
• Plan, organize, and supervise General Sales Agent (GSA) services to meet company and principal expectations.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff in the absence of Management.
• Support the completion of all tasks assigned by the Management within the specified timeline.
• Prepare and update required reports and documentation for authorities, principals, and internal management.
• Be seconded to various offices (Malaysia or abroad) as required by the organization.

Sales & Marketing Responsibilities:

• Ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets are consistently achieved.
• Identify and explore new business opportunities in alignment with company objectives.
• Outline and implement effective marketing plans to support company and principal sales goals.
• Gather and monitor essential market intelligence (e.g. competitor activity, new service opportunities).
• Provide timely updates to customers on airline rates and schedule revisions.
• Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, invoices, and other documentation as required.

Operational & Reporting Duties:

• Assist the Cargo Manager with special projects and assignments.
• Fulfil operational functions required by the company and its principals.
• Ensure all outstanding collections are followed up and updated.
• Report any workplace irregularities to Management promptly.
• Attend mandatory training sessions as and when required by the Company.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in cargo sales.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with sales reporting tools.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
