Role Purpose
- Manage GTD's strategic technology partners to deliver performance, resilience, risk control, and commercial value.
- The role combines supplier governance, procurement commercials, third-party risk, technology understanding, and structured vendor mediation to improve partner outcomes and support senior management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner Governance & Risk
- Run risk-based partner governance across segmentation, forums, standards, controls, decision records, escalation paths, and action closure.
- Embed third-party risk controls covering cybersecurity, data, resilience, concentration, audit readiness, and remediation.
- Coordinate Technology, Procurement, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, Finance, and business stakeholders on partner decisions.
2. Performance, Technology & Service Recovery
- Translate GTD technology requirements into partner KPIs, SLAs, service credits, delivery milestones, controls, and resilience obligations.
- Drive structured partner mediation and compensation recovery to meet agreed service, commercial, and performance outcomes within Mediation framework.
3. Commercial Value & Market Intelligence
- Support spends transparency, renewals, benchmarking, demand discipline, contract value realization, consolidation, and negotiation inputs.
- Use supplier financial signals, analyst insights, technology roadmaps, and market intelligence to identify risks, opportunities, and value levers.
4. Insights & Executive Reporting
- Prepare partner health dashboards, QBR packs, portfolio heatmaps, risk summaries, commercial insights, and decision papers.
- Highlight recurring issues, control gaps, technology dependencies, concentration exposure, cost opportunities, and required management actions.
Key Requirements
8–10 years in technology partner management, procurement commercials, supplier governance, third-party risk, IT service management, technology sourcing, or contract management in banking, financial services, or a large, regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience with supplier segmentation, scorecards, QBRs, issue remediation, executive reporting, and partner governance.
- Good understanding of cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, software delivery, managed services, resilience, and IT service management.
- Working knowledge of contract obligations, service credits, benchmarking, renewals, spend analysis, supplier risk, ESG, concentration risk, and exit planning.
Skills & Capabilities
Strong capability in partner governance, commercial analysis, third-party risk coordination, technology translation, service mediation, performance analytics, stakeholder management, and executive reporting.
- Able to balance cost, service quality, risk, resilience, innovation, and regulatory expectations.
- Able to lead structured discussions with senior stakeholders and partners during performance, control, commercial, or service recovery issues.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001, outsourcing governance, cloud risk, vendor management platforms, contract lifecycle management, or supplier risk tools.
