Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead change management activities.
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications (internal and external).
  • Leading and facilitating teams through continuous improvement, and ensuring standardization for Change and Communication processes, services, and deliverables
  • Identify current industry best practices and implement those best practices into the organization.
  • Manage interaction with outside services related to support for communications or Change programs/projects, e.g. Translation agencies, video creators, etc.

Change Initiative / Project related:

  • Leads Change and Communications workstream in projects
  • Conducts Rapid Assessments across programs / projects to determine Change and Communications needs
  • Assess the change impacts.
  • Assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Lead or support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Integrate change management activities into project plans
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Identify, connect with, and manage stakeholders

Routine and ad hoc communication related:

  • Key Point of Contact for GBS Leadership for business wide communication support (Executive level, GBS Directors).
  • Develop, manage and deliver global, regional and localized communications
  • Develop the content and coordinate the production of communication, e.g. Amway intranet, email communication, videos, workshops, and events for stakeholders, etc.
  • Manage the translations of communications across the individual markets
  • Assess communication/engagement effectiveness and implement feedback mechanism
  • Manage and adhere to communication review and approval processes / timelines

Key Attributes

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Fluent/native English. Any other language would be an asset (e.g. Spanish, Chinese/Mandarin)
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Change Management Competency
  • Change management and/or Communications certification desired
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
