Job Title: Change Manager

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Key Responsibilities

Change Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute an integrated change management strategy covering stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, communications, training, business readiness, adoption, and reinforcement.

Change Impact & Readiness: Assess the impact of new underwriting processes, AI-enabled capabilities, roles, controls, and ways of working. Translate findings into practical readiness plans for each LBU and business function.

Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, underwriters, operations teams, technology teams, and change champions. Create clear alignment on the change vision, business outcomes, responsibilities, and decisions required.

Communications, Training & Adoption: Design and coordinate targeted communications, learning, demonstrations, toolkits, and user support. Ensure impacted teams are equipped and confident to adopt the new solution and processes.

Business Readiness & Deployment Support: Define readiness criteria, track actions and dependencies, and support cutover, go-live, hyper care, and transition to BAU. Identify adoption risks early and drive timely mitigation with relevant owners.

Benefits Realisation & Continuous Improvement: Establish adoption measures and feedback loops to monitor usage, user experience, process compliance, and business outcomes. Use insights and lessons learned to strengthen the blueprint for rollout across other LBUs.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 8+ years of change management, business transformation, or organisational change experience within Financial Services, with a strong preference for Life Insurance.

Transformation Track Record: Demonstrated success leading change for large-scale digital, operational, or technology-enabled transformation programs from design through implementation and BAU adoption.

Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Life Insurance operations. Experience in New Business Underwriting (NBUW), underwriting transformation, AI-enabled solutions, automated rules, or workflow change is highly advantageous.

Change Management Expertise: Practical knowledge of structured change methodologies and tools, including stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, communications, training, readiness, adoption, and benefits tracking. Relevant certification such as Prosci or equivalent is preferred.

Regional Exposure: Experience working across regional and local teams, with exposure to Southeast Asia markets, particularly Malaysia, is highly preferred.

Skills: Exceptional communication, facilitation, influencing, and executive stakeholder management skills. Able to simplify complex change, manage resistance constructively, and thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
