Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly driven and result-oriented professional to lead channel management and business development initiatives. The role focuses on maximizing market coverage, driving BU-specific offers, aggressively hunting for new pipelines & opportunities, and strengthening customer and partner relationships.
- Channel Management (Primary Focus)
- Develop, manage, and expand a strong network channel partners.
- Define and execute channel strategies to improve market penetration and sales performance.
- Drive channel engagement through regular business reviews, promotions, and joint activities.
- Ensure channel partners are aligned with company objectives, BU priorities, and pricing strategies.
- BU Offer Promotion & Coordination
- Act as the key commercial driver to promote Schneider offers.
- Work closely with internal teams to understand product value propositions and target markets.
- Ensure effective execution campaigns, launches, and cross-selling initiatives through channels.
- Monitor performance and recommend actions to improve sales effectiveness.
- Electrical Industry Sales Execution
- Lead selling activities of power product including LV/MV equipment, components, solutions, and related systems.
- Identify customer needs, propose suitable technical-commercial solutions, and close business opportunities.
- Maintain strong customer-facing presence with stakeholders including consultants, contractors, panel builders & end users.
- New Opportunity Hunting & Business Development
- Aggressively identify, qualify, and pursue new market opportunities, projects, and customers.
- Proactively explore untapped segments, industries, and geographies.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with clear tracking of opportunities.
- Execute strategic account acquisition plans and penetration strategies.
- Market Analysis & Customer Relationship Management
- Conduct ongoing market analysis to track trends, competitor activity, pricing, and customer behavior.
- Provide actionable market insights to commercial and marketing teams.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with key customers and channel partners.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical or other related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of sales or channel management experience in the electrical products industry.
- Proven track record in channel sales, account management and business development.
- Strong hunting mindset with demonstrated success in acquiring new customers and projects.
- Solid understanding of electrical market dynamics, competitors, and sales cycles.
- Excellent commercial, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
