What will you be doing

  • Covers the strategic channel plans for Hypermarket, Supermarket, organized/modern Minimarket, PCVS and value discounters.
  • Lead & develop all channel-specific volume-building plans through shopper insights to deliver set volume target & clear KPIs, including post-evaluation.
  • Work with Category Development & Brand to translate Category & Brand Concept into Channel-specific Shopper Program in the respective channel.
  • Work with Sales (Regional Trade Marketing, Regional Sales Manager, Key Account Managers) to develop an effective & efficient activation of Shopper & Customer Programs.
  • Monitoring & understanding the MTD & YTD sales of respective brands within the channel.
  • Identify risks & opportunities through category & channel analysis and develop plans to address these risks/opportunities.
  • Manage channel trade expenses, ensuring tracking and usage within budget, & ensuring justifiable Return of Investment (ROI) for every investment.
  • Plan & lead Commercial Meeting Monthly Commercial Reviews in HQ and Monthly Operations Review with Sales Team.
  • Provide insight and develop solid channel & shopper plans during Annual Business Planning with clear category & channel strategy.

What you bring

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Business Studies or other relevant fields.
  • Strong experience in Category, Channel Planning & Development of Modern Trade, preferably within FMCG industry.
  • Experience as in Modern Trade Key Account management, minimally 1 year.
  • At least 7 years of relevant working experience.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Windows applications such as Excel, Words and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with competency in data and trend analysis.
  • Possess strong English communication skills.
  • Possess effective presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and demonstrate good business acumen.
