JOB SUMMARY
Carry out inspection work or identify when damage/functional failure occurs in any electrical installation whether based on daily damage complaints or emergency complaints according to the Electricity Supply Act 1994 and ensure the good maintenance of clean air equipment as stipulated in Air Selangor Green Behaviours.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure installation inspection visits are conducted by a competent engineer (in accordance with PPE 1994, Regulation 66) for Low Voltage (LV) installations (≤600V or >100A) at least once every month.
- To ensure protection relay calibration is carried out at least once every two (2) years in accordance with PPE 1994, Regulation 110(4).
- To carry out installation inspection and testing (including wiring) at least once every five (5) years in accordance with PPE 1994, Regulation 110(3) and the current requirements of the Energy Commission (ST).
- To carry out random and scheduled on-site monitoring, including compliance with the scope of work, worksite safety, contractor quality under the Facility Management Services (FMS) contract, work permit compliance, equipment quality in accordance with AIS standards, site housekeeping, post-installation equipment testing, verification of contractors work claims, monitoring of repair or replacement works, and compliance with approved work processes and schedules, as well as other contractual site compliance requirements.
- To carry out on-site inspection and monitoring for the preparation of tender and quotation documents for OPEX and CAPEX projects involving electrical and air conditioning installations.
- To carry out the maintenance and restoration of Low Voltage (LV) equipment and switchgear at Air Selangor office buildings and Selangor Water Store premises.
- To conduct monthly inspections of electrical installations by a Competent Electrical Engineer at Air Selangor for a period of one (1) year.
- To prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Load Balancing Test reports, and Insulation Resistance Test reports for existing wiring systems at Air Selangor office buildings and Selangor Water Store premises.
- To ensure, carry out, and monitor preventive maintenance of all electrical installations in accordance with the requirements and standards of the Energy Commission (ST).
- To ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of air conditioning equipment in accordance with Air Selangor Green Behaviours.

Minimum Qualifications
- Chargeman A0 / A1 Certificate Approved by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)
- Minimum of two (2) years knowledge and experience in Air Conditioning Maintenance & Electrical Building
