Job Description: Chemical Engineer – Graphene Synthesis

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chemical Engineer to support the production and process development of graphene and other advanced materials. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in chemical process design, materials handling, and process optimization, contributing to efficient, safe, and scalable production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Design & Optimization:

• Support the design, development, and optimization of production processes for graphene and related advanced materials.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling to improve efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.
• Implement and monitor process control systems to ensure consistent product quality and operational reliability.

Materials Support & Analysis:

• Assist with material testing and characterization using techniques such as Raman spectroscopy and XRD.
• Work with the team to troubleshoot process issues and support quality improvements based on material analysis.

Process & Equipment Support:

• Support the operation and upkeep of process equipment used in production.
• Contribute to maintenance planning to ensure reliability and consistency of production systems.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and internal documentation.
• Communicate findings and progress updates to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's (minimum CGPA: 3.00) or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of chemical process design and material properties.
• Graphene-related experience is an advantage.
• Excellent English language proficiency.
• Data analytics experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in simulation and modeling software (e.g., COMSOL, Ansys, etc.).
• Familiarity with material characterization techniques (e.g., Raman, XRD) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
