Chief Financial Officer, Asia (Based in KL)

Description

This premier financial technology firm operates globally with a high growth business in Asia. Due to business growth, the client is recruiting for a dynamic and highly commercial Chief Financial Officer, Asia, to be based in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

Reporting to Regional CEO and Global CFO and in close partnership with regional leadership, you will shape financial strategy, support critical commercial decisions, ensure strong financial governance across multiple markets and align financial outcomes to business strategies. As a key business partner, you will provide insight on performance, investment priorities, and long‑term value creation. Managing a large regional team (including in-country team), you will drive various activities including planning and analysis, controllership, financial and regulatory reporting, cost management, tax governance, and HO reporting. You will collaborate closely with other divisions including risk, compliance, product, and technology to ensure financial frameworks support growth, resilience, operational discipline and strategic transformation.

Qualifications

Degree qualified, you are a highly commercial and credible finance leader. You possess multiple-markets experience within Asia with regional or global MNC that operates in a high growth and dynamic environment. Exposure to technology, financial services, payments and telco sectors are preferred but not a must. You are highly driven, enrtreprenurial, analytical and commercial. You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and executive gravitas to partner closely with senior stakeholders in the region and HQ
