We are partnering with an established and growth-oriented organization to appoint a CFO. Reporting directly to the CEO and BOD members, the CFO will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, business performance, governance, and long-term value creation.
This position requires a commercially minded finance leader who can balance strategic decision-making with strong financial stewardship while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & Business Performance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities.
- Provide financial analysis, business insights, and performance reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance against business objectives and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate commercial initiatives, investment opportunities, and growth projects from a financial perspective.
- Partner with business leaders to support sustainable growth and profitability.
Financial Management & Compliance
- Oversee the preparation of management reports and financial information for leadership review.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory obligations, and corporate policies.
- Manage the external audit process and coordinate the preparation of statutory financial reports.
- Oversee taxation matters and ensure timely regulatory submissions.
- Maintain robust financial controls and reporting frameworks.
Treasury & Capital Management
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity requirements, and funding needs.
- Manage banking relationships and treasury-related activities.
- Support funding initiatives and capital management strategies.
- Provide recommendations to optimize working capital and financial resources.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Provide financial leadership on governance, risk management, and business planning matters.
- Collaborate with senior management and key external stakeholders on financial and strategic initiatives.
- Support executive-level decision-making through high-quality financial insights and recommendations.
- Contribute to the development and execution of long-term business strategies.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance function.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Enhance financial systems, reporting processes, and operational efficiencies.
- Strengthen internal controls, policies, and risk management practices.
- Drive process optimization and digital transformation initiatives within the finance function.
Key Requirements- Possesses professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA/ICAEW.
- Possesses relevant experience from Tech industry.
- Possesses experience dealing with reporting requirements of stock/security exchanges such as KLSE/ASX/SGX.
