About the OpportunityOur client is a growing FMCG company seeking a dynamic
Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and transform its business operations. This is a strategic leadership role for a commercially driven and hands-on executive who is passionate about scaling operations, driving sustainable growth, and building a high-performance organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the overall business operations, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Drive business growth through operational improvements, process optimisation, and execution excellence.
- Oversee end-to-end operations, including supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, customer service, and business support functions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, profitability, and overall business performance.
- Establish operational KPIs and performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with commercial and functional leaders to support business expansion and organisational growth.
- Lead transformation initiatives, optimise resources, and strengthen operational capabilities across the business.
- Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and results.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline. MBA is an added advantage.
- 10+ years of leadership experience within the FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing, or retail industry.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence, business growth, and organisational transformation.
- Strong experience leading cross-functional teams across operations, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and commercial functions.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical, strategic planning, and execution capabilities.
- A decisive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building scalable operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and change management skills.
