Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Chemical Specialist (R&D / QA) to join a multinational chemical manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and Research & Development (R&D) activities for polyurethane-related products.

This role will also involve developing new formulations and systems based on customer requirements, providing technical support, and working closely with the Production team to resolve quality and technical issues. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Quality Assurance

• Manage and maintain the quality of company products.
• Conduct quality inspections, testing, and analysis as required.
• Identify and investigate quality issues and non-conformities.

R&D and Product Development

• Design and develop new formulations and polyurethane systems.
• Develop new products and improve existing products based on customer requirements.
• Conduct product testing and evaluation.

Quality System & ISO

• Maintain the Quality System related to the Technical Department.
• Ensure relevant quality procedures and documentation are properly maintained.
• Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, risks, and relevant controls.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Applied Science, Polymer Science, or a related field.
• Equivalent qualifications in a relevant scientific or technical discipline will also be considered.

Experience

• Previous experience in Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), R&D, or ISO systems is an advantage.
• Experience in the chemical, polymer, polyurethane, or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Salary: RM3,600 – RM5,300 per month
