Job Overview:
The Cinema Manager holds total end-to-end accountability for the site's financial metrics, operational standards, strategic regulatory compliance, safety, and ultimate sign-offs for all corporate procedures.
Specific Focus Responsibility & Accountability
- Financial Authorization: Review and grant final approval for all petty cash expenditures and floats. Validate and authorize the finalized daily/monthly cash variance summaries for corporate submission.
- Inventory Governance: Provide final executive sign-off and approval on weekly/monthly inventory counts. Overlook and validate the site Concession Purchases / Reconciliation Tool (CPRT). Formally approve corporate adjustments for physical stock variances and finalize allocations for general, office, and marketing supplies.
- Strategic Recruitment & Placement: Conduct ultimate-stage interviews and possess final hiring authority for all Crew positions. Authorize and give final approval on the strategic assignment of specialized certification roles across the site.
- Training Governance: Monitor, evaluate, and officially sign off on the overall Staff Learning Portal tracking system progress and the master Crew/Host training certification matrix. Authorize specialized or budget-dependent target training schedules.
- Employee Relations Resolution: Approve final punitive actions, solutions, and resolutions regarding severe staff misconduct, corporate grievances, and formal disciplinary disputes. Provide ultimate sign-off on site workforce attendance, OT, and allowance disbursements.
- Regulatory Compliance Sign-Off: Review, validate, and execute final legal and operational sign-off on cleaning vendor compliance documentation before contract or service commencement.
- Facilities & Continuity Management: Review and authorize all critical maintenance logs, safety records, and large-scale routine maintenance or site renovation projects. Strategically manage high-level mall management negotiations or third-party interventions to shield business operations from downtime.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven, successful tenure as a Cinema Manager or Senior Manager within high-volume Retail, F&B, or Hospitality operations.
- Robust leadership capabilities with a metrics-driven background in controlling operational expenditures and meeting strict commercial KPIs.
