Job Overview:
The Supervisor focuses primarily on daily operational execution, floor management, initial tracking, routine administrative reporting, and direct front-line team leadership.
Daily Operations & Accountability
Team Performance: Oversee the performance standard and sales target reviews directly on the floor. Maintain daily operational activities and attend to customer queries, issues, and complaints promptly.
Cash Handling: Handle cash floating, precise reconciliation of float money, counter spot checks, and secure counter cash drops. Oversee and process void transactions and customer refunds.
Inventory Management: Raise daily stock requests and requisitions based on forecasted demand verify physical stock availability for daily shifts.
Product Quality Assurance: Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) methodology is stringently practiced. Actively prevent food spoilage and maintain overall quality standards for food and beverage items.
Daily Close & Opening: Oversee the smooth opening and closing operations of the cinema floor. Prepare the comprehensive daily shift floor log report detailing operational anomalies.
Equipment & Maintenance: Perform standard floor equipment breakdown checks. Record and escalate technical or facilities issues immediately to the maintenance team.
Team Management & Training: Conduct hands-on training, onboarding, and operational coaching for new Crew/Hosts. Monitor staff behavior, attendance, and grooming to ensure complete alignment with company benchmarks.
Technical & Control Room: Ensure proper projection workflows by turning on/off projector systems and validating that films run smoothly. Perform basic maintenance on picture and sound quality to minimize downtime. Maintain strict cleanliness and organizational standards in the control room environment.
Specific Focus Responsibility & Accountability
Inventory Control: Assist higher management with monthly physical stock counts and accurate variance tracking. Oversee the breakdown and allocation of general supplies, office supplies, and marketing materials.
People & Development: Assist with the initial phases of Crew onboarding. Update and maintain standard Crew/Host training records, including active compliance logs on the Staff Learning Portal and the site training matrix.
Discipline & Grievances: Conduct preliminary investigations into front-line staff misconduct. Report findings and handle general Crew/Host grievances or early-stage disciplinary measures.
Regulatory Compliance: Collect and prepare operational compliance documents from cleaning vendors (e.g., identity verification, medical checkups, CIDB/typhoid certifications) for managerial verification.
Minimum Diploma qualification, preferably specializing in Hospitality, Retail, Business, or equivalent discipline.
Minimum of 1 year of supervisor-level experience within a fast-paced retail or Food & Beverage (F&B) environment.
Excellent operational resilience with the flexibility and capability to work dynamic shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
