We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to be based at our project site in Johor, Malaysia. In this role, you will take full responsibility for on-site civil construction management, technical coordination, and end-to-end project execution, ensuring key objectives in quality, progress, safety, and cost are met. As a core member of the project team, you will work closely with local design consultants, supervising consultants, and other stakeholders, actively participating in the full project lifecycle from approval processes to final handover.

Key Responsibilities
1. Fully responsible for on-site civil construction management, coordinating progress, quality, safety, cost, and site discipline, and resolving technical issues on site.
2. Liaise with local design consultants, supervising consultants, and relevant stakeholders to efficiently communicate technical solutions, coordinate drawing reviews, and manage construction coordination.
3. Assist the Project Manager in the full process of project approvals, documentation submissions, government inspections, and handover upon completion.
4. Review construction plans, work quantities, and site variation orders; supervise construction procedures and material inspection upon delivery.
5. Prepare daily site logs, weekly and monthly reports, and project documentation, ensuring all records are complete and compliant.
6. Additional Duties:Perform other related tasks as assigned by company management or group headquarters.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related disciplines from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum 2-5 years of on-site civil engineering management experience, with a solid understanding of Malaysia's construction processes and standards.
3.Fluent in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, with working proficiency in English and Malay.
4. Familiar with approval processes and completion inspection standards; experience in Johor is preferred.
5. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stress management skills; high sense of responsibility and willingness to be based on site.
6. Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
