Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget compliance, and adherence to the highest quality standards.
- Perform structural analysis and design for bridge and building structures using established industry tools and methodologies.
- Supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring full compliance with approved designs, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives and ensure smooth execution.
- Implement rigorous quality assurance processes, including regular site inspections to verify structural integrity and long-term durability.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, specifications, and other documentation required for approvals, tenders, and project records.
- Stay current with advancements in the field and apply innovative techniques and technologies to enhance project outcomes.
- Be willing and able to travel to project sites for hands-on involvement, including working closely with the headquarters team during installation phases.
- Execute post-tensioning works; prior experience with systems from VSL, Freyssinet, or BBR will be a distinct advantage.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering, with a focus on bridge and/or building projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or similar tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking and proven problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
