Civil Engineering Draughtsperson

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineering Draughtsperson to join our team at Aeroinfra Consult Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our Engineering division and contributing to the success of our projects.

What you'll be doing

·         Prepare detailed engineering drawings, sketches and technical documents to support the design and implementation of civil engineering projects

·         Assist engineers with technical calculations, data analysis and report preparation

·         Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support

·        Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations and best practices in civil engineering drafting

·        Collaborate with the engineering team to identify process improvements and implement efficient workflows

·        Provide mentoring and training to junior drafting personnel as required

What we're looking for

·        Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline

·        Minimum 2 years of experience in civil engineering drafting or a similar technical role

·        Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit or MicroStation

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and the engineering team

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

·        Familiarity with civil engineering standards, codes and regulations
