Role Summary:

The strategic function is to create and manage long-term relationships with customers. Account professionals work as trusted advisors to shape solutions and solve our customers most critical business problems. Members of this job family are accountable for overall profitable growth and exceptional delivery.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Own and manage strategic client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to drive long-term partnerships and account growth
  • Develop and execute account plans focused on revenue growth, profitability, and expansion within assigned accounts
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organisations, particularly within public sector agencies
  • Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities by positioning end-to-end IT services solutions (applications, cloud, analytics, cybersecurity, managed services)
  • Partner closely with sales, solutioning, and delivery teams to shape proposals and win business
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery in collaboration with delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet contractual commitments
  • Monitor account financials, including revenue, margins, and forecasting; ensure projects meet profitability targets
  • Track project performance and ensure timely execution to meet client and internal KPIs
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction (CSAT/NPS) through consistent engagement and successful delivery outcomes
  • Prepare and present account reviews, reports, and growth plans to internal and client stakeholders
  • Stay up to date on public sector trends, procurement landscape, and technology developments to refine account strategies
  • Coach and support junior team members where required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in IT services or system integration sales
  • Proven experience managing and growing accounts within the Singapore public sector
  • Strong network and relationships within government agencies preferred
  • Experience selling end-to-end IT solutions such as application development, managed services, cloud, analytics, cybersecurity, and infrastructure services
  • Strong account farming experience with a track record of growing existing accounts
  • Experience in account planning, pipeline management, and developing growth strategies
  • Solid understanding of financial management, including forecasting, revenue tracking, and margin management
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Continuous learner with a strong understanding of IT services and market trends

Other Qualifications:

  • Experience from leading IT services or system integrator companies is preferred
  • Professional certifications, such as Certified Account Executive (CAE) or Certified Strategic Account Manager (CSAM) are an advantage
  • An advanced degree is a plus
