Job Summary:
This is a pure sales hunter role responsible for driving new business revenue in Malaysia's outsourcing and IT services market. The role involves acquiring new clients, developing a robust sales pipeline, and closing deals. It is ideally suited for a results-driven professional who thrives on winning new business rather than managing existing accounts.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- New Business Acquisition (Primary Focus)
- Identify, pursue, and close new clients (new logos).
- Drive aggressive pipeline generation through cold outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Own the full sales cycle — prospecting to closing.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Sales Execution
- Conduct high-impact client meetings, presentations, and proposals (RFP/RFI)
- Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline.
- Negotiate and close deals with mid-to-large enterprises and MNCs.
- Market Focus
- Target IT, tech, and BPO clients.
- Identify high-growth opportunities in outsourcing and workforce solutions.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity.
- Internal Collaboration
- Work with delivery teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Align with finance and operations on pricing and margins.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven hunter with a track record in new business acquisition.
- 4 – 5 years of B2B sales experience (outsourcing, IT services preferred).
- Strong network within IT / tech / BPO clients.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads independently.
- Confident in cold calling, pitching, and closing deals.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable in a target-driven, performance-based environment.
Key KPIs (Non-Negotiable):
- New clients acquired (Primary Metric).
- Revenue generated.
- Pipeline value.
- Conversion rate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, HR, IT, or related field.
