Job Description

Clinical Application & Optometric Workflow Support

Ensure clinical excellence, repeatable outcomes, and seamless workflow execution.

  • Deliver deep-dive training on the PRESBYOND treatment workflow, including patient selection, refraction protocols, centration, cyclotorsion, treatment planning, and outcome interpretation.
  • Train surgeons and optometrists on excimer setup, MEL90 PRESBYOND parameters, and refractive planning techniques.
  • Provide on-site case support and evaluations to optimize early outcomes and build surgeon confidence.
  • Develop standardized clinical SOPs, surgeon guides, and pre/post-op best-practice protocols.
  • Support optometrists on accurate refraction, binocular balancing, aberration considerations, and suitability assessment.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and trainings for ZEISS PRESBYOND, ZEISS Refractive devices and ZEISS Refractive Workflows.

2. In-Clinic Practice Development Consulting (PDC) Excellence

Improve conversion, expectation management, and patient understanding at every touchpoint.

  • Train counsellors, optometrists, and call-center agents on patient-friendly PRESBYOND communication.
  • Conduct regular role plays, objection handling sessions, and counselling confidence workshops.
  • Develop scripts and communication frameworks for enquiry handling, adaptation expectations, visual performance, and comparison vs. monovision.
  • Create and deploy PRESBYOND patient-journey materials (digital + physical), and track usage impact.
  • Guide clinics in designing end-to-end patient experience to improve counselling efficiency and satisfaction.

3. Training & Capability Building for Local Country Teams

Build strong local expertise and ensure sustainable adoption through internal upskilling.

  • Train local Sales, CAS, PDC, and Marketing teams on PRESBYOND clinical fundamentals, workflow, patient profiles, and best practices.This may include; product training, application training and providing relevant clinical papers, product technical specifications, competitor analysis and fight cards
  • Develop train-the-trainer programs to ensure consistent knowledge transfer within each country.
  • Provide field coaching during clinic visits to strengthen team confidence and competence.
  • Conduct quarterly capability assessments and recommend targeted development plans for each market.
  • Lead cross-functional learning sessions (clinical + PDC + marketing) to align teams on category-building strategies.
  • Document and share best practices across countries to harmonize PRESBYOND execution regionally.
  • Conduct market scanning to report competitors activities, analysis & market trend for management decision making
  • Identifying and building potential KOLs for various local and regional symposiums together with Professional Education.
