Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with ophthalmologists and staff to ensure optimal utilization of our products, including premium IOL solutions.
  • Assist with product installations and trials, while providing comprehensive training, demonstrations, and on-site support to healthcare professionals to ensure effective use and successful adoption by clients.
  • Provide in-theatre support during surgical procedures involving premium IOL implants to ensure proper product usage and gather clinical insights.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers in the ophthalmology field by providing timely support, resolving inquiries, and ensuring consistent after-sales follow-up.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's product portfolio, including premium IOL technology, and stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, support account development, and contribute to achieving sales objectives.
  • Undertake any additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by the superior/management when required to support the department objective.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide strategic insights.
  • Support marketing initiatives by participating in product launches, workshops, exhibitions, and other promotional activities.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of support activities, customer interactions, and product feedback.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by providing insights and recommendations based on customer feedback.
  • Travel to customer sites as required for training and support activities.

Pre-Requisites (Qualifications & Experience)

  • Possess a Bachelors Degree in Optical/Optometry/Ophthalmology/Medical Science/Life Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience; high-caliber fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong problem-solving, technical, and communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and possess own transportation.
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
