Department Overview
A software engineering team that specializes in the development of world-class digital two-way subscriber radios for the mission-critical market.
Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Collaborate closely with the Cloud Application Development teams to understand product features and technical implementation - including topology/ infrastructure/ test environment deployment
- Define, develop, and implement quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and other QA assessments.
- Design, execute, and automate test cases based on gathered requirements to ensure the software meets business needs.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects, using a bug tracking system.
- Perform API Testing, load testing, performance testing, and security testing of our cloud application.
- Work on continuous testing in CI/CD pipeline and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) testing.
- Participate in all phases of the development cycle, providing input on software/functionality design.
Basic Requirements
- Fresh graduates or 1 - 3 years working experience.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in testing cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge of agile, software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Knowledge of Python, Javascript, Angular, C# or other languages used for scripting.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery tools (e.g.,Azure Devops, Github Action, Docker etc).
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with an attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
