Cloud Automation Engineer (Senior & Lead )

A leading Asia-Pacific telecommunications conglomerate operating mission-critical, 24/7 telco-grade cloud platforms focused on high operational resilience, automation, and scalability.

• Reliability & Incident Leadership: Maintain production platforms to meet strict uptime SLAs, lead high-severity incident responses to drive down MTTR, and perform deep-dive RCAs.

• IaC & Automation: Design and automate secure cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation) and implement DevSecOps-aligned CI/CD pipelines.

• Operations Engineering: Optimize multi-cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to scale self-healing capabilities and reduce operational noise.

• Governance & Support: Review and approve operational changes, maintain architectural documentation, and provide technical mentorship to junior on-call engineers.

• Experience: 3-6+ years in Cloud Operations or Infrastructure roles within high-availability production environments.

• Cloud Infrastructure: Strong technical depth in AWS implementation-specifically supporting RDS through a service catalog model. Multi-cloud exposure to Azure is preferred, with a baseline understanding of enterprise cloud architecture and landing zones.

• Automation & Tools: Advanced Terraform proficiency, including module usage, end-to-end workflows, and GitHub Actions-based CI validation.

• Scripting expertise (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) and basic Kubernetes knowledge.

• Domain Expertise: Solid grasp of cloud networking, IAM, DevSecOps methodologies, and ITSM/ITIL processes.

• Core Competency: Exceptional debugging skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive during major customer-impacting outages.
