Job Overview:
We are looking for a Cloud Enablement Engineer to support enterprise cloud transformation efforts. You will assist in assessing existing application landscapes, proposing cloud transition plans, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure secure and compliant onboarding to AWS or Azure. The role provides strong exposure to real-world enterprise migration strategies and is ideal for someone eager to build a long-term career in cloud engineering and solution architecture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in technical discovery and mapping of existing applications and services.
- Support proposal of migration strategies including rehost, replatform, refactor, or replace with SaaS.
- Document current and target architectures, including infrastructure dependencies and integration touchpoints.
- Coordinate with governance, security, and architecture teams to support design and approval processes.
- Collaborate with cloud test environment and DevOps teams for provisioning and CI/CD readiness.
- Track open issues related to audit, compliance, risk, and cost under guidance.
- Participate in migration planning sessions, workshops, and technical reviews.
- Contribute to reusable documentation, checklists, and migration templates.
Job Requirements:
- Foundational knowledge of AWS and/or Azure, including EC2, Azure VMs, Lambda, and Azure Functions.
- Exposure to containerization and serverless patterns; awareness of Kubernetes fundamentals is a plus.
- Interest in Terraform, GitHub Actions, Ansible, ArgoCD, FluxCD, and modern CI/CD tooling.
- Basic understanding of VPCs, subnets, cloud storage services, and hybrid integrations.
- Familiarity with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or logging pipelines is advantageous.
- Understanding of governance and data sensitivity in financial services.
- 24 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or application support roles.
- Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or other entry-level cloud certs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a passion for learning cloud architecture and operations.
