Cloud Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Handle technical issues related to one of the Public Cloud services and provide technical solutions to customers.
2. Assist customers in migrating to the cloud according to the service Statement of Work (SOW) and deliver implementation work as required by projects.
3. Complete project-related tasks assigned by the technical manager on time and ensure quality delivery.
4. Possess analytical skills to tackle complex issues and follow up on problem resolution progress until the issues are resolved.
5. Summarize customer usage scenarios and promptly update documentation for new issues.
6. Take responsibility for improving team efficiency and enhancing productivity through the use of automation tools.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, preferably with 1-3 years of experience in using and developing on cloud platforms.
2. In-depth understanding of Linux systems, command line proficiency, and familiarity with system architecture and operations.
3. Strong computer fundamentals and proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python.
4. Prior knowledge of cloud computing and cloud-native technologies (such as K8S and Docker) is needed.
5. Familiarity with common services, including NTP, YUM, DNS, firewall, and other related technologies.
6. Ability to quickly analyze and solve problems, with a strong sense of technical acumen and risk identification.
7. Excellent summarization skills and ability to organize documentation effectively.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Chinese and English. (this role required to work in a regional team)
