Our client is a rapidly scaling global software company specialising in next-gen Warehouse Management and Supply Chain Execution Systems. They are seeking an Infrastructure Manager to lead the Cloud Hosting & Operations function across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Infrastructure & Cloud Operations team (DevOps engineers, system administrators).
- Define the cloud infrastructure roadmap aligned with product evolution and business growth.
- Develop and enforce SOPs, policies, and best-practice operational frameworks.
- Manage network architecture including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and VPC configurations.
- Conduct capacity planning, cost optimisation, and infrastructure performance reviews.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) to standardise deployments.
- Automate provisioning, backup, recovery, patching, and system updates.
- Support delivery teams during customer deployments and go-live phases.
- Execute system upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
- Implement cloud security controls aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2, PDPA, GDPR.
- Ensure compliance with client and internal data-protection requirements.
- Establish monitoring and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Grafana, Huawei AOM).
- Track availability, SLA performance, RTO/RPO metrics, and incident trends.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all cloud environments.
- Manage cloud provider relationships and support escalation channels.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product, Delivery, and Customer Success teams across regions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years in IT/Cloud infrastructure or cloud operations.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or team-lead role.
- Candidates must be able to speak Chinese to engage with R&D team
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Huawei Cloud, Azure or GCP cloud platforms
- Strong background in deployment automation, monitoring, and cloud security.
- Experience supporting enterprise software environments is an advantage.
- Linux administration, VPC networking, routing, VPNs, firewalls.
- Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- HA/DR design, cost optimisation, cloud security frameworks.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus.
