Job description:
Manage and Optimize Cloud Infrastructure:
- Manage the implementation, operation, and support of Cloud Infrastructure to meet the organization's vision.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness of cloud resources.
- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization.
- Formulate and implement IT Cloud-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
Cloud Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a cloud strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Design and implement cloud architectures for new and existing applications.
- Plan and execute cloud migration projects, if any
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and best practices
Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers or IT support staff.
- Delegate tasks and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant qualification from a recognized university.
- Minimum 7 years of working experience IT field, preferable with team lead experiences.
- Certifications in Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator or equivalent).
- Huawei HCIP or HCIE Certified ICT Professional is an added advantage
- Competent in Systems Management Microsoft and Open Source Operating Systems, Servers (VM Host and physical servers), Firewall, Security Systems, Network switches and infrastructure, Wireless network and Mobile technology.
- Experience in software development (frontend development, backend programming), performance optimization, API integration, CI/CD and DevOps are added advantages.
- Possess knowledge of database management MSSQL / Oracle
- Possess knowledge in concept of systems and interfaces between systems.
- Excellent communications skills, compassion.
- Ability to work long hours, often under pressure.
- Effective decision-making and problem solving skills.
- Experience in managing Operation and Support
- Experience in Project Management.
