Cloud Infrastructure Operation Engineer

Job description:

• Responsible for cloud infrastructure system administration and maintenance
• Ensuring incidents logged pertaining to infrastructure are accurate and up-to-date
• Ensuring all the changes to production services are subject to change control workflow
• Proactively monitor cloud infra systems performance
• Able to prioritize all the instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required
• Conduct root cause analysis following unplanned disruptions to improve system availability
• Conduct problem management of repeated incidents affecting the business services
• Conduct incident management of raised incidents that affecting cloud infra system
• Maintain and provide recommendations to enhance the performance of the cloud infrastructure and software across the organization.
• Involve in multiple projects at any one time often within a team
• Manage and Support 24x7 infrastructure services

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant qualification from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in cloud infrastructure implementation and support (servers, networking, security, monitoring).
• Knowledge of cloud computing platform such as Huawei Cloud, Cloud Alpha Edge, AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Familiarity with virtualization of cloud computing.
• Proficiency in networking such as TCP/IP, routing, firewall.
• Cloud security best practice such as IAM, encryption and network security.
• Performance tuning skills such as load balancing, caching, and database optimization.
• Prefer to have certification in Huawei Cloud ICT Associate (HCIA) and Azure Administrator Associate.
