Join Maxis as a Cloud & Network Platform Analyst Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience in supporting and optimizing cloud and network infrastructure within a fast-paced telecommunications environment. This role provides exposure to real-time platform operations, network performance monitoring, and cloud resource management—critical components in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of Maxis core systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring cloud-based systems and network performance, identifying and reporting anomalies.
- Support the deployment and configuration of network devices and cloud resources.
- Participate in troubleshooting network connectivity issues and cloud platform incidents.
- Contribute to documentation of network configurations, cloud architecture, and operational procedures.
- Conduct basic analysis of network traffic and cloud resource utilization data. Collaborate with senior engineers and team members on projects related to infrastructure upgrades and optimization.
- Learn and apply best practices for network security and cloud operations.
- Support routine maintenance tasks for network and cloud platforms.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and eager to learn new technologies
Internship Duration
- Starting June onwards, preferably 6 months or longer.
- Open to undergraduate students and recent graduates seeking industry experience.
